    Re: Nintendo Retro gaming

Just bought a NES the other week, came with a near mint box with Mario Bros 1 + 3 and Pacman, thought £20 was pretty damn good for it.

I accidently pulled off the end of the wire that connects to the TV, so I replaced it with a normal old TV wire connector and the picture it produces now is perfect, I mean, it cannot get any better.

Still play on the N64 also and have a quite decent collection with it, N64 is still king IMO, but saying that, I haven't played the SNES yet.

Out of the 3 NES games, can't comment tbh as I've only been on Pacman really.

N64, top games for that are Mario 64, Goldeneye, MK, DKR, and Banjo Kazooie.

I still fire up a game boy for a game of tetris.

There is something about playing old games on the original hardware.

    It's an obvious one but..

    Chrono Trigger

No other rpg from the 8/16bit era comes close.

I have all the old Nintendo consoles and recently played through many of the older titles again. Forgot how harsh they were! Mainly played through the old Mario, Donkey Kong, and Bomberman games!

    Re: Nintendo Retro gaming

I still have loads of my retro consoles back at my parents house but the 2 I keep with me are SNES & Dreamcast.

SNES wise I have about 75 games on the shelf but my faves are...

Single player: Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World.
Multiplayer: Super Street Fighter 2, Bomberman 3, Mario Kart.
