About LinkBacksSaying Modern Warfare 2 is subject for delivery via a courier due to our postal strike. Does this mean i get the game early as i presume the courier will be delivering many copies at the same time.

Think it just means you will definitely get it on time, although my copy of pes2010 came 2 days before it was released so fingers crossed
Game are doing the same thing and I have had the email saying it's packed and awaiting pickup. Fingers crossed it lands Saturday/Monday
Sat would be good, but unlikely as I think Play say they are guaranteeing delivery on launch day right up to Sunday evening.
If it's courier delivery, there isn't going to be a Saturday delivery. Not without a massive premium on delivery rates anyway.
Game shipped mine yesterday via Express 24H Parcel Force but it ain't here yet. My brother's copy has also been shipped from Gameplay, but that too has not arrived yet.

Just checked the courier details and mine is due to arrive tomorrow apparently
Although the issue being as it unlocks through Steam I will still have to wait till Tuesday.

Boo! I had forgotten I won't be able to unlock it until Tuesday. Ah well. I can wait.
Yeah will have to wait xD I might play through CoD 4 again till it arrives.
Game usually offload their deliveries to a courier with a speciffic date for the delivery to be made..
Though if your tracking number says it's out for delivery tomorrow then I guess you'll get it early

It would be pretty sweet if it did, im preparing myself for the delivery by stocking up on food and alcohol. Im planning on playing 24 hours straight after i get it.
As the postal strikes have been called off I doubt they will be sent by a courier. I ordered mine through shop2 but it has been reported that they haven't had a delivery yet, I'll definitely not get it before the release date.
I also got a email from Game today.. although ive noticed a couple of peeps on my friends list are playing it now
What platform are your mates playing it on now? If it is the PC then that means there is no embargo date in Steam.
