I played the demo and closed it after about 3 minutes, was shocked at how bad it was.

Yahtzee ripped it to shreds IIRC, and is now using it as an example of a terrible game in the reviews he does

You can only kill people whilst sliding along the floor, running along a wall, or jumping wildly through the air. Standing (or crouching behind cover for that matter) gives you virtually no chance of making a kill.

So most of the time you have to make ridiculous manoeuvres, like seeing a group of men with AK47's on the other side of the room - you would run along the wall shooting a couple of them in the head, then take a running jump over their heads, then run in front of them and go into a slide, shooting a few more, then go back a bit and take another run up and superjump whilst shooting them.

It's completely ridiculous, you spend more time looking where you can jump/run/slide than where the enemies are, and consequently it plays a bit like Tony Hawks with guns. Not impressed

That's exactly how I felt after playing the demo. By the time you lined yourself up for the manoeuvre the enemies already moved to another position. Good concept but poor implementation.

in honesty this (not to the acrobatics degree) was fun in max payne but WET didnt have a good mix of storyline or moviesque bullet time scenes

hahahah Gtech, it was the biggest review in a PS3 mag i bought when i was on holiday (i think it was) and it looked crazy good, its got more slo mo action by far than Max Payne but its just not got that x factor for me
