For the HD remake though I'm not so sure why the delay, probably as The Last Guardian is delayed so they don't want to steal any of its thunder?

I can only vouch for SotC, but it's honestly a really fantastic game. A real desolate mood, simple gameplay mechanics, a huge game world and really fun bosses. That's pretty much the game in a nutshell, a series of bossfights.

A fun, unique game.

I think Ico and SOTC were 2 of the most underrated games on the ps2, the third was Okami

Shadow of colossus was my favourite of the previous two the sense of scale was fantastic.

I never played ICO but I must say that Shadow of the Colossus was probably my favourite game on the ps2. It had good replay value and it was just overall a great game.

Picked this up recently and it is a fantastic remake - the framerate is vastly improved and if you've never played either before you're in for a treat. My only qualm, and it's personal taste, it's that it seems to have lost something in translation. I kind of liked the way the PS2 struggled to run Shadow and you'd feel like the PS2 was about to break under the strain! The quick-footed-ness of the PS3 arguably removes this, but I guess it's me looking back through rose-tinted specs.

Fully agreed Best game on PS2 in my humble opinion. I played it right before living in Japan for a year - enriched the experience somehow.

I read somewhere that they had added a bonus weapon to the PS3 version of ICO.

Howz the experience related to old ps2 version. I had SOTC on ps2 ... but did not play it fully .. looking forward to get the HD one!
