It's not exactly totally smooth sailing but it's an idea that's got legs I reckon. I might have to re-arrange my livingroom soon if it becomes something useful!

Haha this is funny, glad I got my PS3 hacked.
Wonder how microsoft will take this, in a way it could mean LOADS more sales for them, but less revenue from games.
It would be interesting to get Microsofts take on this as they were happy to see it getting hacked!
Haha can't believe that. I'm sure Microsoft will soon come out with a statement.
wow, good idea though. I heard it could also be done on the PC.
You might be able to if you jailbreak and use a homebrew OS
i'd prefer "move"
I heard that PlayStation Move came out as the competitor to Kinect. But I don't know how far it matched with Kinect. If the Kinect comes out for PS3 it would be really nice.
I haven't tried either, I was considering buying the Move, is it better than the Kinect?
You can connect the Kinect to your PC as well and use it as a home motion capture unit. But you'll also need the Motion Builder.
I'd go with a firm no. I have the move bits and the sharpshooter gun and struggle with the sheer 'bounciness' of the cursor. It's not bad and Time Crisis is a hell of a lot of fun, but the Ape Escape game is turd and Heavy Rain is far better with a controller. Might be interested in Child of Eden as that was pretty good on Kinect, but my PS3 is 3.55 and pretty sure Child is 3.7-odd so no dice for me...at the moI haven't tried either, I was considering buying the Move, is it better than the Kinect?
Is move any good, I can barely move off the settee..never mind jumping about my living room
I've never tried Move or Kinect (only played the Wii once) but I like the idea of them. I've just been kicked out of my gaming box-room and now back downstairs in the living room so now have the space for this kind of thing...
Move is as good as Wii and would feel a bit more natural than Kinect I guess. However, good Move games are quite limited. My favourite is The House of the Dead: Overkill.
