When my mate's got his Wii hooked up to the projector and I'm stood in front of it, it's a little difficult not to attempt the proper swing at everything.

Boxing is mental though, especially when someone thinks it should be kickboxing, and tries to kick their opponent when they're down!
If you can't keep up, stick with reality...

Speaking for myself, I am a bit inbetween, I'll stadn up for all of them and put a good bit of effort in, but I personally don't think my actions are over the top. But you never know, I could be deluding myself ^^

My friends whos Wii it was, she is right ott, she does the run up and everything in bowling, lol, and she does all the appropriate actions for tennis as well. I found boxing mad, I don't did to games (all 3 rounds), but i was proper nackered after, I wasn't really dodging properly, I was just moving the Wiimote, but I really got into it and concentratred quite hard actually. Must have been quite interesting for my friends to watch, hehe, was good fun though.

Its hardest on Baseball as it really starts to hurt the arms after a couple of hours.
I also got that after a good 3 games of baseball , pitching was the worst, i was getting pitches of over 140kmh nearly evertime though, and was doing the full arm movment, so you can understand why, lol ^^

Has to be said... projector and big speakers is the only way you can play with a Wii, anything less that a big fat off wall to play on just will not do imo. It's just so much more involving and intense, and a bit more realistic too. Plus it saves any possible TV/Wii damage you might do, as everything is behind you, or to the side (depending on your set up of course =P).

I'm a flicker until I start playing Tennis.... then the kids have to get off the couch!

Funny watching the kids play boxing though... you'd have though Frank B was stood right in front of them!

Im getting a bit too cocky on tennis atm.

Played last night and lost the match because I was trying to hard to put spin on the ball

Baseball - I throw the ball like in real-life even with the little leg lift and super-fast arm throw. Batting - I swing it like Real-life as well.

Bowling - Yeap.. I've got the footshuffle and slide I use at real bowling and also the little wrist flick to spin the ball.

Tennis - I just stand still and swing like a loony - just missing the lampshades and whatnot but once I hit the wall hard with my knuckles which caused the air to be bluer than a chubby brown gig.

Boxing - This is not that much fun. instead I tend to do super fast combo's against my mate and hit him with the cord from the numchucks instead of concentrating on the TV. Occasionally you can hear me shouting " ADRIIIAN " but this depends on the total volume of alcohol consumed against time

I got my hands on a wii for the first time yesterday, wow its fun!

One small problem, I was so into the bowling as I went down low for another fast strike, I heard and almighty ripping sound... I had completely ripped the groin of my jeans...

Its worse because I have just moved back into the country and the rest of my clothes arent here yet! they were my only pair... damn you fun wii!

Not OTT but I try to be realistic with my movements, I've swooped down a couple of times to hit the tennis ball when its near the ground, It makes no difference to what happens on the screen but I have found that the wii will make me take natural reactions to things happening on the screen and I firmly believe the wii is the kind of thing you have to embrace and have a good imagination with if you want a genuinely fun experience with it.
