    Great Photographers?

If you've seen my pics on here you'll note they have a certain look to them. I've been trying to find photographers online with that gritty oversaturated effect, with limited effect.

Two sites I found which had some great stuff were

    http://sleepycity.net/index.php

    and

    http://www.nonphotography.com/index.html

One particular picture on the latter site really captured the kind of pictures I'd like to take.

    http://www.nonphotography.com/Galler...ite09_028.html

It's kind of like early 1970s porn photography, or at least what I'd imagine it to be like since it was a little before my time. Serious vignetting, with great faded colours.

Anyone else got good sites, along similar lines? Or even just photography they really admire and try to emulate?

You might want to do a search for lomo photography, lots of vignette and saturated colours.

I like the effect on the right photo

EDIT: heres one i did ages ago (Not my photo)
    Original

    Edited lomo style

Yeah, I had a play around with Lomo styling a while back

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.p...highlight=Lomo

but now realise it was actually quite unlike actual Lomo photography, but hey, you live and learn. Also similar to Holga camera photography, but although the images can be very interesting, the glass is so poor that you get terrible barrel distortion and I'm not a big fan.
