I've ditched the land line - it's now used for inbound fax only.

Now, I want to have a Skype phone with a land line number tied to it - so I can use Skype on this for calling people as well as inbound calls.

Any suggestions appreciated - I want it to operate without a PC.

I looked in to all of this a while ago and I was going to get a VoIP phone running with an Asterix setup but it all seems far too much hassle and Skype is a lot more universal and seem's to work well.

Also - when I travel having Skype pulling my landline calls is far less routing issues

I like the look of the Belkin and Philips ones....

Specs

- Must be Wireless
- If DECT also beneficial but not the end of the world
- Price doesn't "matter" so much
- Headset would be very helpful with it.
