I have a decent 1 year old 37" LCD TV that some times does not turn on. It makes all the correct noises, clicking etc but the screen does not come on. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on and it always works the second time.
Does anyone have any idea why his might be?

Does the led flash? If so the TV might be trying to tell you something - check the manual to find out what the codes mean.
no, it does everything as if it should be on but the screen is dead.

have you tried ringing Toshiba?
they might be able to tell you if it's a fault or whatever..
