just been to see a preview of this tonight, very good film imo good effects and a nice plot (although it was pretty obvious) a few nice little touches aswell.

Plus a brilliant jazz cover of down with the sickness by disturbed

I'm really looking forward to this, was a fan of the first one and the remake looks like it's stuck to the winning formula.

The remake of the first one that was done a good few years ago was really good. You can get the origional 3 in a boxset called Trilogy of the Dead, really good movies for their age.

Looking forward to seeing this one.

Wasn't the zombies in Resident Evil pretty tough? Either that, or 28 days, can't remember which..

BTW, if you guys want to watch another zombie movie (and don't mind a slight lack of an in depth plot), rent Versus.. If only to see zombie use guns!
(granted, I am not sure if they ever hit anyone, but its something I've yet to see anywhere else).

I think the whole point behind zombies is not that they're brains don't work properly its that they are no longer capable of real thought they live purely on animal urges to feed etc. Based on that they should be as quick and strong as any human if not more because they don't get tired like we do and have no fear of injuring themselves.
