Remote (e.g. bluetooth?) line-in?

Ok, so I have an mp3 player, I think with that I can just use a line in from the headphone jack to a speaker system?

However, I have a speaker system with much better speakers than on my PC - but neither are really portable and in fact would prefer to have them in different parts of the house - is there any way to remotely transfer the music over to it like some kind of dongle that plugs into the line-in socket on the speaker system and transmits it via bluetooth/wifi or something and another one on the line-out from PC? Haven't been able to find anything on the net, seems weird if such a thing really doesn't exist it seems pretty common sense...

That's designed mainly for TVs though, has RCA plugs for both input and output

The speaker system I want to use has a 3.5mm headphone jack size aux-in or bigger guitar-style mic-in jack on the speaker system -- Anyone know if RCA (two sepearate audio lines) can be adapted to either of those?
