    BluRay/Freesat Setup help

I am moving to a new house soon with a sky dish on it and figured it would be a good time to upgrade to Freesat as I have a feeling some of my favourite channels are going to dissapear from Freeview soon.

    I have found this box:

    http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_G...309/index.html

Which is a twin tuner freesat PVR with BluRay recorder player & DLNA media.

I've spoken with a couple of people and due to the high price of this box they recommended going with two separate boxes (Humax Freesat PVR & stand alone Blu Ray player). As I have a 1yr old daughter I am quite keen to cut down on remotes!

So I am asking the Hexus hive mind what's the general consensus on these things?

    Thanks in advance

    NS

I would personally go for two separate boxes, you can get a decent bluray player for around £100 now - you good always get a logitech harmony remote as well.

    Re: BluRay/Freesat Setup help

    +1 for logitech harmony.

Having used other universal/multi device remotes I didn't understand how much an improvement a Harmony remote makes, until taking the plunge myself. I would now never go back to other brands/separate remotes.

So for me its separate boxes.
