    Where do you start?
Someone mentioned nightmare a few posts back. Brilliant show for adults, let alone children! - compare that to some of the childrens TV shows today (Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh - what is that all about?) - no contest really. God knows what the future generation will be nostalgic over (Aww wicked do you remember pokemon aww what a show!)

Did anyone ever see that brilliant cartoon Visionaries? No? Well go buy it now. Tis only a tenner and everyone needs to see at least one episode!

As for more mainstream stuff all we seem to get these days is an endless stream of lifestyle and makeover shows. What is it with the current spate of Antique and House buying programs on at prime time? What ever happened to programmes like gamesmaster?

Also the lack of good comedy is quite alarming. We as a nation are well known for our brilliant comedy. Probably the only reason other nations like the british If things continue we'll become known as a nation of boors who's comedy is so PC and lifeless! The only decent comedy shows made recently have been Coupling and The Office

    Anyway sorry about the rant...

    Good old tv shows:
    Nightmare
    Visionaries
    Transformers
    Brittas Empire
    The Highlife
    Two Ronnies
    The Office
    Rab C Nesbit
    (Most british comedy show really)

Quantum Leap - I was devastated he never made it home
Lost in Space - did they ever make it back?
Gamesmaster - the Dominic Diamond era
Space..Above and Beyond - "its ok to be scared"
Babylon 5 - though there's rumours of new B5 (related) material being made

There was also a comedy on BBC2 on a few months ago - it had 2 Scottish OAPs - it just seemed to disappear - anyone remember a name?

B5 followed thru until its end, we had Crusade for a while but that died a death, there was also talk of Legend of the Rangers which also seem's to have died a death, weird how cult programs do that when Sci-Fi gets hold of them, I get a feeling that SG1's gonna go down hill fast now Sci-Fi's got its claws into it, we've got 1 spin off already and knowing Sci-Fi that'll not get finished or ruin the "universe" its set in...

Everyones said Airwolf and A-Team and the likes, what about Street Hawk tho

Space Above and Beyond here too.
LOL at Street Hawk, the bike that could do 90 degree turns.

Quantum Leap, Macgyver and a lot of the comedy shows are repeated in cable it's just finding them thats a nightmare.
