Snow Patrol - Last Straw

Anyone heard of these guys?

I'm more a fan of rock, metal...and heavy metal but this album isnt, its soft rock/indie ? i duno really, its just got a great sound no matter what it is, the albums great, some good lyrics, good tunes and its really relaxing

only picked it up earlier and im alreay hooked any more fans ?

Grabbed it last week for a mate, not bad stuff not really my cup of tea but it makes decent background music while im on the computer

there are a few tracks im not so keen on, but most are pretty cool, some remind me of a few hell if for heroes songs which is always a good sign

last straw? final straw? its all the same, i think there both the same album, apart from one has 2 bonus tracks on, cant remember which way round it is tho

found it dull & lifeless, they were the support act for a Grandaddy gig i went to, and the frontman commented that me & my housemate looked like we were going to kill them...

Its a good album, but not as good as the new Razorlight IMO.

Antoher good one I got was an Import from Japan, American Hi-Fi - Hearts on Parade.....

Final straw is one of my fav albums at the mo (mainly because of spitting games), behind some of my ninjatune albums

I love Final Straw! Had it for a few months now and it keeps finding its way back onto my play list.

Got their previous 2 albums for my birthday, not as struck as I am with Final Straw. However, am going to see them a week on Sunday and I cant wait!!

Dont fret Howard, I like Franz Ferdinand too.

Anyone else like The Strokes? Im hooked on them atm, listening in preparation for V!

The strokes i can live with, reptilia was a pretty decent track, franz ferdinand i just can't stand though up there with the darkness and the rasmus on my list off annoying people.

Franz Ferdinand are annoyingly catchy....

I'm generally heavier, but the snow patrol album is quite good.
As is the new Keane album.

These bands generally come in waves though. I think its based on the weather for the year :-P
