    Batman is ACE

The first film. I aint a fan of the comic books or anything but I just got done watching the first film, and I was left with the thought "how good was that?".

I can't really remember the other ones, some from sheer time, and some because they were awfully bad <- the one with arnie *sighs*

The script is great, and the Joker was brilliant and disturbing. One of my fav jack nicholson films now actually. he was superb.

When they were fighting at the last seen and he just stands up holding his jaw like it was totally buggered and then spat out a set of dancing teeth. That was sheer perfection. What ELSE would the character have done !

Just thought I would enthuse and hopefully get a few people that haven't seen it to go and get a copy, and those that have seen it to just argue/discuss the merits of the batman films

Yeah, the first film is genius. The second is a bit too unrelentingly dark for my liking, still great though. To this day I don't know why they couldn't get Michael Keaton and Tim Burton to make any more.

Tim burton's batman was always imo the best representation, he got the dark feeling just right, im hoping the christian bale version will bring some of that back and without robin as he was sh** in the films.

I remember my Dad taking me to see Batman in te cinema . It was a '12' and i was nine, so i had to walk in on tiptoes Went to see than movie 3 times and love every manic micheal keaton moment!

Course it wasnt till a while later that i understood the joker screaming

    "This town needs an enema!"

I even bought the soundtrack . By prince. Prince.

Yeah i'm really looking foward to 'batman begins' ...... Christian Bale is pretty good and guarantees a dark performance (gotham citypsycho anyone )

Best of all being directed my mcthingumy wot did Memento (BRILLIAN!) and Insomnia (passable remake with good direction and photography!)

Very very much looking foward to turning back time away from joel schumaker and his plastic batmobile that drives up walls.

Anyone know who the baddie is?.... or could be?

    prince?
    Do you think when Jesus comes back..... he ever wants to see another cross.......? *{God bless you Bill}

Not sure about the baddie, but rest assured the new batsuit will not feature nipples.

It was a film set in Alaska with Al Pacino and Robin Williams as the bad guy. It's a really good film, definitely worth a watch.

Edit: And I'm not sure who Mcthingumy is, but Insomnia and Memento were directed by Christopher Nolan, who will also be directing Batman Begins.
