Bought a couple of hundred 'verbatim' on special from Asda. during the summer - great deal.
I tend to get Maxell discs from Wilkinsons due to them being cheap. I can't say I've had any issues before due to a disc itself. I used to get ones from a computer fair (Datawrite/Datasafe) but found them to lose their data over time and become corrupt. Fine for short term use, but no good for backup.
im guessing this is the 100 pack you talking about earlier ?
I might try the TDK in the meantime , or just wait for a bigger piece of cake ...
on 2nd thoughts....
the carriage (which I thought i got free through hexus ) and vat means my £13.35 gets bumped up to ( £31.61 ) 5.27 vat and then £12.99 for 3 day carriage up here .
So Im guessing that free shipping doesnt cover all the uk esp if its up where I am ?

For DVD-RW I only have a few (no need for more!) and they are just a collection of Plextor and other such that came free with drives.
I bought about ~20 DVD-R years ago and still haven't got through them! They are Tesco's own brand though and I've not made a single coaster out of one yet!
I've used various ones over the years I think. I used to use verbatim but got a lot of fails, although a fair few were because of software. I've always used Infiniti for light scribe and not had any problems with them that I can remember, so I've started using printable ones of those now. I usually get them from amazon or eBay.
These days I buy them from the supermarket when they have a half price deal on but only stick to known good brands like Verbatim or Sony, currently on 3 of 6 of 50 pack Sony DVD-R (MID:SONY16D1) bought from Sainsbury for £7.49 each a while ago. Remember that data might write and verify ok however the lower quality discs tend to fail over time making part or all data unreadable.
I used to buy Sony from amazon, never fail to burn disc
Well.. there goes Scan.
So take note Scans free shipping doesn not over all of the UK.HEXUS free carriage would not cover this area as a premium is charged by our courier.
Any one tried tescos own brand ?
