Listened to album, thought it a bit samey, lacked bass, couldn't listen all the way through.
Got invited to gig at Wembley Arena.
Sound guys had done their work well, cranked up the bass to chest slapping levels, and was thoroughly impressed. The band were tight, vocals stunning and the set surprisingly good for a band with only one album!
Now I'm a happy listener for moments when I want to put heavier stuff to one side. I won't listen without some form of bass boost on in the car, the album production was clearly aimed to sell to the masses and not us in the heavy mob.
Is it gothic? Couldn't care less, I like music for what it is, not the widely associated steriotype. I hope they're not blinded by the inevitabe labelling.
Go see 'em and hope the sounds guys are on form

There's a difference between stereotypes and genre's, the " marks kinda give away the sarcasm in calling them gothic tbh, and they've got more than one album
yeah I have 3 of their albums - though one is a live album, and the other album i have('Not for your ears') is more of a demo cd imho...many of the tracks on it are the same songs as on 'fallen' but with different FX, different samples and diff guitar tracks
Ahhhhhhh I had wondered about additional albums, my own font of knowledge increases. Are we talking additional studio albums here?
