Still grips me

I have now seen that film at least 5 times and I still get hooked. Of all distaster movies, why on earth does it get me so successfully?

Excting, awesome scenery, half decent acting (the young girl in it is superb...real terror when she finds bodies in the lake,serious sadness when Gran dies) and the excitement doesnt really ebb.

I think that, although I have seen in so many times I would happily sit and watch it again straight away.

Its nearly verging on classic.

What do you lot think? Am I right? Does anyone NOT like it?

I know what you mean.. kinda... always seems that old Pierce is gonna buy it when he's being chased by the big nasty cloud.... and the moment when the geologist bloke gets swept away on the bridge... just kinda dooms the rest of them somehow.....

Volcano and Dante's Peak are both quality. Seen them about 10 times though
