    No.

They're nowhere near as good as many people say them to be.
They're just too basic and unoriginal imo. Nothing special or radically new.

I saw them last year in December, while they were supporting Disturbed... I had never heard of them then. I can't say I or the crowd were impressed... His voice was so ear peircing, it actually hurt when he screamed! The girl next to me even got the bouncer to give her some ear plugs! My opinion has changed, but I'm still not sure whether I can rate them as high as some people have.

They're being plugges a horrendous amount over on Radio1 - I'm forced to listen to it at work

And it looks like they're on their way to becoming quite big after all.

I first heard of them froma mate, he didn't know whether he was supposed to be embarrassed by them or what. I downloaded 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' from him, heard 'Growing on Me' in Virgin and bought it then and there. ove it to bits now, quality album.

Wasn't until afterwards that I realised how much of a following they were gatting.

They are 10/15 years out of date, the singer has THE weakest falsetto voice ive ever hear, but musically they're solid.

I know the guys from Muse, my old band used to gig in Torquay with them. Used to hang out with Chris, he used to work in the music shop I spent many a Saturday afternoon in Nice guys and destined for greatness.

Darkness are fun but nothing screamingly amazing. I think it'l be a fad. Lets hope they make the most of it, I can't see much longevity.

Saw them at Radio 1 concert in Cardiff on sunday and they are ****ing superb live. There was about a dozen frankie look-a-likes (bass player with the tash) who looked real good/funny. They also played the dirty version of get your hands off my women and the crowd went nuts. I was 10 feet from the front and getting crushed a bit and drenched in sweat but it was well worth it. They interacted with the crowd too, tring to get everyone to say "Cuuuuuuuuuuuu-uuuuuunt!" and "motherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucker!" and stuff which was great fun.

Defo 10/10 performance from them compared to the other bands. Only travis were as good, but i was near the back by the time they came on.
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

the darkness are quite a laugh and certainly seem to be a bit of something different for now - 5 yrs ago i would have called this 80's cock rock - but in my old age i seem to be hankering for some type of pop stardom/excess rather than this mindless pap pop-idol and the like throws at us every day.....

they're not the best band in the world - but they sure act like they are - and you gotta respect em for that IMO

Shows how much u know... Trance first cropped up end of 98 start of 99 when Ibiza went proper mainstream...

Early 90's and mid 90's was just basically dance hence prodigy
