I just got these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 based on a Gizmodo review, plus the price had come down a bit, now at £30. A handy feature is that their fully water proof so you can easily clean them after getting a sweat on!

I've got some Aftershokz bluez 2 headphones - but have gone off treadmills lately - so not too sure how well they stay on when body moistened.
I like them 'cos you can tune in to your surroundings and hear important audio cues like "watch out!" or emergency service sirens.
Reviews say they're good, but some may have been sponsored reviews, as there is a whole spectrum of comment from poor to excellent.
Just had a look and a year+ on from bluez 2, I see that there is not a bluez 3 - maybe on it's way, or maybe line discontinued?

If you're worried by the audio quality when you are on the treadmill, you aren't working hard enough!

    Re: Earphones on a Treadmill...

I got Aftershokz Bluez 2 too. Absolutely hands down the best 'sports' headphones I've ever had. I used them for fairly heavy training rides/runs in all weathers (including blazing heat, snow, rain, ice etc).

I had the original Bluez, and after about 14 months of constant abuse one of the buttons stopped working. I emailed the distributor in the UK to ask if there was a factory reset I could do as they still worked perfectly apart from that, and they told me to ship them back and they'd send out a set of Bluez 2 for free.

Within a month of owning them, my kids had stepped on them and snapped one of the ends. I emailed the distributor again to ask if it was still possible to get the original Bluez as they seemed a bit more robust. The distributor told me that it was likely a manufacturing defect caused by using a weaker plastic on the initial production run, and sent me another pair for free. True enough, they've held up very well whilst training for IM Melbourne, despite generally being chucked in my training bag etc.
