    headphone / can recomendations

i'm after some new big cans - im not all about fashion so i want big ear muff style ones - infinitely better sound quality imho
they'll be used to listen to my guitar thru my korg ax1500g & for general music...

    budget is around £50 max

i've read a few places that the Grado SR60's are a good bet but i can't find them within my price range - anyone have any alternatives + whats the quality like on wireless cans these days - i remember using my grandfathers 7-8 yrs back and them being terrible, but the idea of no cable especially using the guitar sounds attractive….

any advice / suggestions as always much appreciated

    anyone have these? - thoughts?

dan's forever reviewing headphones - have a look there for some recommendations. I have an oldish pair of sennheisers that replaced an even older pair of sennheisers and I'd never buy anything else. They can lack ooomph in the bass, though. Sony headphones are popular among the rock crowd, but if you want some really hard wearing pro-quality phones, then check out Beyer. Every record for the past 25 years has been recorded by a guy wearing Beyer DT100 headphones.
