    Talking Magic Roundabout

Went to see this today with my other half and the 3 kids, UCI at Gateshead were doing the advance screenings yesterday and today before its official release on the 11th.

What can I say, one of the best funniest movies I've seen in a long while. Its nothing like the old Magic Roundabout that used to be on TV (This brought back many childhood memories for me ! )

Story revolves around Zebedee and what looks like his evil twin (similar to the evil Mario on Mario Sunshine on the Cube) Zebedee and ZeBad look just like Mario actually come to think of it !

They have managed to put a good story in the film, probably will have been quite difficult for the writers going on the origional Magic Roundabout and the way it was with just a voiceover telling the story on the episode.

Basically, ZeBad needs the 3 crystals off the Magic Roundabout to freeze the sun and make the whole world cold, so Dougle (Dog), Train (Train ! ), Dylan (Stoned Rabbit ! ), Brian (Snail) and Ermitude (Cow) are given the task to retreive the crystals by Zebedee before ZeBad gets his hands on them.

This leads to some great looking locations, Fire Cavern, jungle right down to Indiana Jones style tunnel with traps !

Its a great movie for adults and kids, I sat there smiling and laughing all the way through it. My three and a half year old son sat there in silence watching it in awe. Thats really something for someone his age, first time he has actually been to the cinema !

Go see it, well worth the money. Wether its older peeps like myself for the nostalgia or anyone else wanting to see a great movie. Wont be dissapointed !
