Metallica @ Earls Court

I totally forgot the tickets for Metallica at Earls Court went on sale today until about 2pm, by that time all standing tickets were sold out and I couldn't get two seating tickets together (my m8 wanted to go as well). I called the Earls Court ticket line and they told me Metallica had added an extra date, the 19th of December

I've got two standing tickets, WOOHOO!

My other m8 (Areku, he posts here sometimes) just got back from college and standing tickets for Friday have sold out

Would you be really kind and sell one of your spare tickets? The show is on his bday, so it would be really cool if he could go... PM me if you want

Afraid not, it says 'Currently not on sale' which usually means they're sold out

That was pretty close, got some tickets in the end. cheers for the link anyway Trash Man. Cant believe how expensive the tickets were, kinda takes the piss. Ah well should be a b-day to remember.

I went to see Metallica at Earl's Court back in 1996... Great venue, but they've somehow screwed up the acoustics.

It just sounded wrong...

I went there to see Def Leppard a couple of years before and other bands since, and they sounded fine... The sound spoilt the experience.

Yea I was also there in 1996 m8 and it was not the best Metallica gig I had been to. Still loved every minute though.

I would have to say the best Metallica gig I have been to would be at the Ministry Of Sound in November....97 I think it was. there were only 300 people there and it was amazing

saw them at Reading, and it was amazing! good luck to people tryin to get tickets, its well worth the effort!
