    help with TV surround sound

I have a DVD player with in built decoder and 5.1 outputs. However I do not have a surround sound speaker setup.

I am thinking of getting some speakers to setup a 5.1 system. However space is limited, and I was wondering if it is possible to get wireless satallites?

anyhow, can anyone suggest a set of 5.1 speakers? budget = approx £150.

    Cheers

Think you would be lucky to get wireless with £150! My 5.2 setup for the DVD was £150 (two years ago mind) and is fairly good for the money, no complants yet...

creative wiring is far better than wirless imo - you are better off spending the money on a better sub/decoder combo.

Yep wires are a pain in the bum. You can get ulta flat wire, can sit under carpet or be run above a skirting board and painted.

Ixos also do a sticky backed speaker cable that can be run very neatly accross the tops of skirting boards and painted if desired

wireless rears are a false description too....

I'll be subtle and ask you a serious question:

What powers them? As it isn't batteries, as they wouldn't have enough oomph...they must be mains.

So....they must plug in....so they DO have wires in most cases.
Just not front to backs....but still power leads

Do the cabling....you know it makes sense.
