    I say use some punctuation...

    besides all I have to do is unplug some stuff and it goes away (I've been h'experimenting) The amount I actually watch telly doesn't actually warrant me getting a new one. Ever. I have broadband to provide my entertainment.

    im pleased that now you have broadband the internet fills all your needs never to need a new tv tho

    Do you have another scart cable from another tv you can try? or borrow one from a friend as a test? If it works then it would suggest that its just poor shielding on the existing scart.

    there is a mod that can be done to euro scart cables which involves removing a pin on one end only [think it is pin 20] it's because the scart is sending two video signals, by removing said pin you remove the secondary composite signal which can sometimes cause ghosting.

    then you reconnect the cable, the modified end should be plugged into the display device

    It rarely causes ghosting. But it's easily removed I guess and you can buy cables with only the RGB signal through them... No Audio or composite

    well it certainly improved picture quality on my 46" rear projection telly, maybe not so obvious with the smaller stuff tho
