Which of these headphones for my mp3 player (Sennheiser)

I want some good quality headphones to replace the supplied creative headphones which will come with my zen micro( i presume they won't get the most out of the mp3 player, i want good sound) So i'm looking on Micro-direct at sennheiser headphones. There are ones for £5 upto £25, will sennheiser headphones at a £10 comprimise be a lot better than the creative ones?? Thanks, john. Suggestion aprreciated.

EDIT: (all of these are sennheiser)
    mx200: £5.82
    mx250: £5.82
    mx300: £8.17
    mx350: £8.17
    mx400: £11.69
    mx450: £11.69
    mx500: £17.57
    mx550: £21.09

    Thanks

The most expencive ones of course, you generally get what you pay for. When its the same brand more expencivee = better.

I would personally go for sony EX71

I find the Sennheiser ones uncomfortable and cheap-feeling.

Though I would say that, I have Shure E2c's .

If you want something more in your price range then I'd second the Sony EX71 suggestion.

IIRC the only difference between MX400 and MX500 is the 500's have inline volume, they both use the same transducers. Get the ones without volume, lesslikely to cause an imbalance.

The sound quality on the MX series is really quite nice, however the build quality leaves a little to be desired. I've had a pair of MX500s and MX400s and they have both relatively easily broken due to regular wear and tear.

They both lasted around 4 or 5 months, if I remember correctly... the connection between cable and headphone on the MX400s was quite fragile, and the connection between cable and volume control on the MX500s was also fragile.

I had to go back to a trusty old pair of Sony in-ear jobs (forgotten the code, but they're OLD) since the Sennheisers.

I've been considering giving these a try:

Though I'm not really sure about them. Good price, those in-ear type phones are quite comfortable (tried a pair of the Shure things once), but I'm a bit weary about whether the sound quality will be upto standard.

    Brands

I would take a look at the soundwise co uk. I have used the Sony Ex71 and the cx300. While they are not terrible I would not recommend either, they sound far to muddy and look cheap. I now use a pair of soundwise e2 which I really like, fantastic value for £19 (delivered). Actually they are the same earphone as the £30 ezears. Soundwise also have brought out a g3 at £25 which has had rave reviews.
