When i went to Reading festival I took 400 fags with me and ended up selling them for £8 a pack near the end of the weekend so I could buy some food

Buy in bulk its always cheaper.

Easy money: If happen to know someone whos going over to france/abroad get the to buy a few big cartons of fags and sell them for £5 packet (easy note people have else they'll buy two packs for tenner) easily 150% profit.

I had 30 packets of 20s and made my ticket money back.

Mmmm I cant wait for V - last year was my first ever festival and I loved it! All apart from the whole toilet situation - I stayed sober the whole weekend so I didnt need to use them anymore than necessary! (U boys r lucky seeming as the world is pretty much your toilet!)

This year I will mostly be taking:
LESS clothes (than last year) and not bothering with the toiletries - bar toothbrush, toothpaste and muchos wet wipes.
My camping stove - cuppa tea after a night in a damp tent makes the world SO much better!
    Disposable Barbie
    Wellies

This year my friend is taking a camper van so Im chuffed, no festival toilets for me first thing in the morning - I plan on pitching somewhere not too far away from where they will be!!

Look forward to hearing what everyone gets up to!
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

A group of us normal go in camper vans to V etc and believe me - it make a wooooorld of difference. You get about 100 times more room plus the bogs are better. Ignor the 'no tents in the camper van field' bit on the tickets, there will be almost more tents than vans and they don't ask you to remove them. It's just an insurance thing. Just put the tents at the side of the van in case the handbrake comes off. Oh, and put the tents in the van before you go as they won't let you carry them on the van area. One other thing, people planning to tent in the van area will have to pile into the back of the van to get in.

It was even worse at download last year, it was 3 quid on the sunday, because it was baking hot and they knew they'd make more money !

I really need to get my download ticket, but my moms so low at the moment, so glad I got my reading 2005 on order, otherwise I'd never afford it

Knox did you catch the aftershock tent at Download? Itll be back this year

I didnt go in, but I found out what it was when I ventured in at Reading ! Promo on their new black aftershock, get a token and get a free couple of shots, after a few nights of heavy drinking, the Sunday I had built up alcohol tolerance already, I hit it, and got about 15 shots in there, didnt even touch me, me and my mate then shared a 24 crate of stella, then I was quite gone, yummy
