    Question Portable speakers...

Hey, im a huge music fan, and have a small collection of mp3 players building up over time, but im going on a long-haul trip with a large group mates soon and was wondering what the best portable speakers out there are?

They'll basically need to be able to run without an AC adapter (Battery Powered), as we're going to be on the road on a coach but having the ability to charge them with an AC adapter would be great.

Generally having them work with any mp3 player or cd player would be awesome, but im looking for strong/clean sound which won't cost me an arm and a leg. My current mp3 player is the Creative Muvo Micro n200.

    ...any thoughts?

    Thanks, Scorchin

ive got a set of them, very impressive for the size. but remember they are small so there's no bass to speak of really. altec lansing do some that have a mini sub in them for about £70, but my travelsound 200's were mroe like £35 and they ru off 4 AA's and last a good lengh of time (25hrs quoted i think). overall tho, im well impressed by them and wouldnt go away without them

Highly recommend the creative travelsound. Amazing at how clear the sound can be and they can go quite loud as well without distorting. You can also get a version that has a built in mp3 player so no need for a seperate player.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
