slight post processing going on... wondering what would happen if I had a play, this is where I go fly fishing with my dad...and apparently one fo the nicer evenings we've had this period between winter coming and winter gone...

That's a stunning picture, do you ever show any of your photography? that would make a beautiful exhibit
How many photoshop filters did you run that through? It looks like a painting. Nice.

well, i added an adjustment layer (gradient) over the top to bring out the sky, in the original all the foliage is black as black so I lifted it all a bit and added a touch of colour (green) then smudged/blurred here and there, erased a bit too. I have since worked on the left side where its still a teeny bit unrealistic to bring the tone to a more natural level - i'm at work so don't have access to it but I'll post it later today - the full size is something like a meter sq. as its a stitch of two pictures.
p.s. jpeg compression from the original hasn't helped the colours come out but trust me, the original is great

As ever shiato, another excellent pic. Do you do flickr - be awesome if you put all the pics you've put here on there. Or get some real hosting, not enough pics on your free virgin account.
yeah I know, virgin only give out 10mb or something poxy like that. tad annoying really. I'll have to look at a way of displaying them better, and perhaps selling them to the world at large as a nice earner on the side, if I get my act together and take enough decent pictures!

Nice, just needs a little blue-green algae.
hehe, its trying to keep the buggers still thats the skill! at least with landscapes we get it easy - mountains, fields, rivers...not the sort of stuff that gets up and wanders offOriginally Posted by dew1911©
