photo challenge... (really isnt 56k friendly!)

ok, there's loads of other photo threads going at the mo, it'd be useful to have a seperate forum for photographers, but well, for now it'll just have to go here.

anyways, here are a few photos i took a few weeks back when i was out in the countryside. I think they're nice enough photos, but i'd like to tweak them a bit cos i'm sure it's possible to make them look a bit better, however i have no skills when it comes to these things, so, my challenge to you photoshoppy types, is to do something to make these photos pretty(er) then post them and say what you did to them to get them like that! You dont have to do all of them, just choose one and see what you come up with.

right on with the photos (click them to get larger full size ones!)

nice pictures, especially the chicken one...chickens make me laugh

i dont know jack about photoshop, but what i am gonna say is....

definitly second the idea for a photo forum, i asked for one a while back but to no avail

and also, anyone up for a Best Photo Challenge, with no prize or anything....just pride.
i think a competition might be quite fun as lots on hexus take photography quite seriously

im gonna go out tomorrow with a camera i think....if i can get the energy somehow

    thanks alot,
    the pirate

    wow! that's cool!

IT's actually a manor house ruin. There was a fire in the east wing a few years ago but the rest of the house is still ok, but only the north wing was lived in up till a couple of weeks ago, the west wing is like something out the 50s! it's amazing inside! didnt get any photos tho my batteries died

<edit> see, i wouldnt know where to start to do that to a photo *sigh* how do u lot learn?

    :steps up to the front:
here's my effort...I tried a sort of an Infra-red effect, could probaby do with a bit extra fuzzing up around the edges. still, came out reasonably well

This is the picture that I'm most proud of, only thing changed is timming off top and bottom, and slight changing of the colours, you may notice it's the one in my signature It was taken in Val d'Isere (well Tignes) from the top of the Grande Mottes (the highest point) looking towards Val d'Isere.

And I'm trying to do something new with it for my siggy, but miserably failing!
