Anyway, I did the best I could, with my Canon S1 IS, which is NOT so good (being gentle) at taking MACRO shootings.

lent my telezoom to a mate this week which is my only potential macro lens, so nothing from me this time

Ha ha, I just took a safety pin, stabbed a hole in a bit of card, and held it in front of my D70 (no lens)...
