    Best Cinema Food?

Wanted to ask for ages but kept forgetting !

What do you prefer to munch in the cinema?

I've gotta say, both Sair and I are into Nachos with Chili's and a pot of dip

    I just cant do PopCorn

But sometimes...the urge for a hotdog.....ohhh the urge!

But its doesnt last long enough.

Where as the raw tongue, burning lips and tear stained cheeks from a mountain of chilli's on Nacho's/.......that is the law

A bottle of sparkling water for me.

Used to get popcorn all the time, usually a combination of salt and sweet so you don't get sick of either. But now i usually pass on it, once in a while i'll get some, but it is rare.

Salted popcorn and sprite ftw. I always get it. I go to AMC in manchester so a ticket costs me £2.50 with student discount and large popcorn and drink is £4. The drink must be around 2 litres and the popcorn is huge. You get a free refill on both as well

I always take my own food and drink, a can of coke and some minstrels! Having paid £6 to sit through a full half hour of adverts, normally at least two featuring dead children, and one on how great the cinema experience is, I'm not that inclined to pay more money to the cinema for inflicting this on me. I prefer to wait for DVD/Divx these days anyway.

    that is crazycheap..

i've got a ugc card, so the films themselves are completely free (winner) - but i'm far too cheap to spent £8 on popcorn and a drink, and as the cinemas in the same block as asdas, i nip there first and get whams, popcorn (toffee) and a sharesize coke. might get 2 of some stuff if shareing.. smuggling it all in is half the fun

Ooo, I like a bit of variation, I'm with you on the nachos / hot dogs - it's always a very hard choice, sometimes you just have to screw your losses and go for both!

Don't really do popcorn these days.

And, technophreak - I want that cinema here!

I tend to smuggle in a bag of sweets or popcorn, and only buy a drink there (can't cope with warm coke, warm coke is worse than flat coke ffs).

I never buy food there though, I think it's put best in a red dwarf episode where lister asks one of the many unknown questions in the universe - "why do intelligent people buy cinema hotdogs?"

I guess we will never know...

AMC is the best cinema ever . They are a huge american company so I think they can either buy stuff at crazy prices or they are just so big that they can afford to make small profits on everything.

Just looked on their website and their only other UK location is in Birmingham so if anyone lives there, you'd do well to check it out
