It isn't uncommon for migraines to be triggered by food.

Bobby, go get an allergy test done. You *may8 just be allergic to garlic and its clsoe family members such as shallots, onions etc etc.

Costs about £60 iirc, but worht it to get rid of worrying about migraines. As far as I can remember, a garlic allergy *usually8 relates to a tomato and aubergine allergy too... any problems there?

Headaches are not a symptom of an allergy - just an idiosyncratic reaction.

An allergy to food is manifested as:

    diarrhoea
+/- wheeze & red blotches on your skin
+/- a full blown anaphylactic reaction

(& 'skin tests' are pretty meaningless)

I've got a slight allergy to garlic, but can't live without it!

Had a HUGE prime rib last night, with roasted garlic... suffered this morning... but the pleasure was well worth it

How does your allergy manifest itself?

I use to get headaches and sick often and later after doing an allergy test found it was because I'm allergic to potatos and milk, so I'd recommend you get one of them, I did the "york test", only problem is they can be expensive (mine cost £260).

One of my mates who works on the deli at work gets them when she eats anything dairy... quite annoying for her, she is a vegitarian... cheese being one of her favorite foods as well!

Not that I know of, the NHS don't do them. You'll be able to get them done at other places cheaper but they probably won't be as thorough.
