dont play mp3s - the quality will be lost. stick a decent cd in and play it thru digital, or alternitively rip it to 320kps mp3

Well I suggest Abba- any will do, but esp. Intermezzo No5 (?) off the Abba album.

And I always thought the bass and drums at the start of Leave A Light On by Belinda Carlisle were great for testing bass response and timing.

What Sennys do you have Zak? I have the HD600s, and I have difficulty finding a soundcard with enough welly to drive them to a decent volume. Onboard sound is a nono. Perhaps I'll just hook my 8RDA+ up to my amp (if/when I can get it running again).

Just wondering why you are going from an Audigy to a Rev if you are going to be using headphones as the only advatage I can see is Rev is 7.1 rather than the Audigys 5.1 (or was it 6.1).
