I think its gonna b a while before the trilogy box set comes out, but it'll be well worth it as they will have lots of extras on them.

Same goes for the matrix, trilogy dvd set should b good

If anyones interested in the box set for Two towers - heres a little more info:

Gollum statue is about 180mm height by 140mm wide (judged acurately by comparing to a 90mm fan )

The extra DVD is a bit disappointing - contains about 23 mins of footage on the making of the range of minatures....

As a surprise, theres a small book called 'creating Gollum' - bout 45 pages long, full of artwork, and quite interesting.
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

I watched the extened edition of the two towers last night, well, 3am until 7am, and the extra footage really adds depth to the story. These extended versions are definitely the versions of the film you should be getting. If ROTK sucks, I'll cry.

I can almost guarantee that ROTK will be the best.
It was certainly the best of the the 3 books (I read them all twice).

The battle will be awesome!!!! Realy bad shame about the battle of hobbiton though. Im well disappointed about that!

    You have been warned!!

They realised what diatribe it was and decided to cut it? Cutting can be good too. Allot of what Tolkien wrote wasnt all that great imho and wouldnt stand up well against contemporary stuff

Both films so far have been a bit of a yawn fest for me. Been there done that a thousand times over when I was a kid. Wont be queuing up to see the last one as its the worst part of the story. The last book was always a serious chore to get through.
