Breighton airshow

Went to breighton airshow yesterday , was a good day out perfect if rather hot weather not too crowded although we arrived too late to get a good viewing spot next to the runway so most of the landing/takeoff shots were obscured by peoples heads , still managed to take a few snaps, well 2.5 gigs worth anyway, and here are a few of them

best bits were probably the red bulls matadors displaying and the noise that the mustangs made as they flew past

it does fit in so there , it's a contrast between man and nature

You sure about that? It doesn't have the twin 20mm cannon in each wing.

*edit, I take that back, it was the IIC that had the cannon *

4 and 7 are fantastic, makes me want to go to biggin hill nxt time!!

Out of interest im just thinking of going for a D70 with kit 18-77 lens
If I wanted to do Telephoto shots how much does that lens you were using cost??

Jessops are offering me a Tamron Lens for only 100 pounds, would it....potentially produce similar results

i bought my 70-300ED from ebay for £150, the tamron and nikon 70-300G are probably the same lens and assuming you get a good copy you should get some good shots from it tho purple fringing on those is supposed to be an issue

great shots - I think that my fave is the Mustang folllowed closely by the Hurri.

need a slower shutter to allow more prop blur, but good pics
