    Crazy colours from Torquay

I just spent a little over a week in sunny Torquay. Twas an interesting trip..
I got some "OK" general shots & landscapes. All have pretty wild colours because... I'm in a colourful mood - these won't be to everyones tastes, though.
Am rather dissapointed in myself for not getting about town and snapping more urban life - the whole place has interesting character, and while it's not necessarily to my taste, there was ample photographic opportunity.

    Anyhoo. Here's some shots.

    #1 Rocky!

#2 An old boat, in a very busy harbour

#3 IR on a marginally quieter part of a beach

#4 IR out on the rocks

    #5 A nice old lighthouse - IR

    #6 Pre-sunrise IR out on a peninsula (Hope's Nose)

#7 More IR from very early out on Hope's Nose

    #8 Neglected old bench

    #9 Obligatory life ring

Woah, these are yet again excellent. Number 3 is just pure nice! If you don't mind me asking, with infrared how long do you normally expose for? I know it will depend on the environment but in the third picture, how long did you expose for?

Bit of x processing going on here Shiato

Kinobe - depends sooo much on the light & filter! No. 3 was 1 second @ F/10 - pretty sunny and a low density filter
no. 5 was taken in much sunnier conditions, and at F/8 - but the exposure was 6 seconds - due to using a much denser filter

6 & 7 were taken before the sun had even risen, so were near enough 10 seconds with a low density filter...

They are just amazing. The lighthouse capture is also excellent. I honestly thought you'd be exposing longer for IR. I knew it depended on the current environment but thought it would be longer that 1 second for number 3.

    Again top stuff......
