HEXUS Photo Challenge:"LETTERS"

Some time has gone by since our last one of these and so I've thought of a simple or tricky one, depending on your point of view.
The rules are simple (reminder below too), you have one week and a half to capture your best shot that fits the category, your shot must have been captured in the time from this post to the end of the challenge, no retro-posting please. the subject is:

"BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LETTER..."

'you what?' you say...'whats all this sesame street malarky about?!?'
well, look around and be creative, you will submit an image that displays how the environment around you creates a letter or letters other than actual letters (i.e. not big signs), for example - and perhaps don't use these(!) - the Clifton suspension bridge for an 'A' or a zigzag warning road sign could be interpreted as a 'Z'...
It may be obvious, it may be subtle...your decision but make it interesting

Usual rules apply; its about your talent as a photographer but editing is permitted to highlight your subject, vastly editted images that severely distort things are not the aim. I usually suggest edits limited to sharpening and levels adjust (as per-usual from a dSLR RAW file for example) but in this instance use your editing wisely. If you can create an image of 26 thumbnails from A - Z, well, we'd all be impressed but please no half arsed attempt with missing letters!
Entire words (SPELT CORRECTLY!!!) are also acceptable, the more humorous the better, but make it just the one word if you do...
For the purposes of this challenge BLACK AND WHITES ARE OK, you may submit either colour or black and white.

You take as many pictures as you want from now until Wednesday 15th August - thats a whole week a half (weekend in the middle)!! Then you pick just ONE to submit, multiple submissions will not be accepted.
Re-size your image to NO LARGER THAN 800x600pixels and 200K in size.
Upload you image to a file-server and send the LINK only to the email address below, if you send your actual picture it may not be included, it is your responsibility to upload it yourself
[a list of free image editing software and free image webspace providers can be found in the sticky in the Creative section].

Entries in by Wednesday 16th August

hexus.creativephotos "at" gmail "dot" com

Please state your Hexus User name when submitting your image

SEND NO IMAGES - send the link to the uploaded location. That should make it obvious and leave no doubt.

A thread will be started at 9pm Wednesday 16th August and Voting will commence for 5 days, the time voting ends will be made known. Images submitted late may not get in!

off you go!

Crafty!
Very crafty!

Gonna have to put the ol' thinking cap on for this one, as well as keep my eyes open

I wonder if anyone can make a word? (without a montage)

not too hard to find "letters" but it's hard to find ones that look good...or maybe that's just my camera and skill with said camera not being up to scratch

take some pictures while ur offshore funkstar, you might be able to get some good shots by taking photos of the structural beams (if your going to a platform) then you could make some M's and N's and stuff

could, but i need permision to use my camera (it's an electical device so is classed as "hot work" i.e. there is spark potential from the electronics). anyway, i think they'd be pretty boring to be honest

it's a bit like the mobile ban on petrol forecourts ... they'd be better off banning nylon clothing

Anything electrical has to be authorised offshore, only exceptions are watches or EX/IS rated equipment (EXplosion proof and Intrinsically Safe). In Norway you have to declare everything at the heliport and they make you leave your mobile phone behind.

When you are on a gas platform that pumps ~£5million of the stuff directly into the national network, as i was a couple of weeks ago, you can see why they would get twitchy about these things
