Web Designer's - Potential Work (project in very early stages)

I work for a highly regarded company within the bespoke building design market, but my job is actually involved in a different area - exhibition stand design and construction. Parent comany www.norking.com

This is a pre-cursor to a more in-depth search for someone to develop our new website. Currently www.foga.co.uk

The current site was based off standard templates (designed to my specification by a third party web developer) and content was added by myself via a website management interface supplied by said developer.

While we were happy with the result at the time it is coming to the stage where we will refresh the site and how the content is laid out. I basically have full control over how the new site will look and am looking for a web developer who I can work in conjunction with to develop our new site. The site needs to have a number of features, but for an experienced designer shouldn't pose much as of a problem as far as I can see.

Basically the site will be used as content only - a reference guide with text, pictures, small amounts of flash, updatable news and picture sections and more importantly a full technical reference for all the parts we sell. I already have all these parts in 3D model format (solidworks)

I'm happy to provide most of the content for the site, what I'd be looking for mostly is for someone to develop the back end of the site, with administrator pages for editing.

Some small animations, and an ability to access 3D modesl direct on the site (in a suitable format) would also be advantageous...although this is not necessary we want the new site to be as interactive as possible.

The budget for the new site has not been finalised AT ALL, thus I appreciate that nothing can be guaranteed at this stage.

The purpose of this post is for all people who might be interested in taking on this project to register interest and I'll get in contact when we're further down the line and more solid plans could be drawn up as to what you might be able to offer...

This is a GENUINE post which will be worth in the region of £1k-3k (possibly more depending on final website specification).

So if you are interested, please reply, or reccomend people. Ideally looking for someone with good contacts, eager to impress and prove there ability in web design. I'm hoping our new site won't have to cut any corners I want to it be the bee's knees.

    Cheers, Matt

    Interesting.

I'd certainly be happy to put forward some details, portfolio work etc. for you to look through, as I have a fair amount of experience with bespoke CMS. However, I'm fairly busy atm, and it won't be for the next couple of days.

I'll see what I can pull together.
