Just got an ipod shuffle 512k.

When I connect it to my pc (m/b Asus A8N32-SLI USB2.0 port) it does not appear to charge (lasted 2mins when I used it this morning). When I connect the ipod, itunes loads up and the light on the ipod flashes orange three times then the light stays off.

(O/S Win 2000 SP4 I’ve downloaded the latest version iTunes and the ipod shuffle firmware.)

I charged the ipod at work today, some Compaq pc, so the ipod seems to be ok. Listen it it for about 2 hours.

I am currently charging via my powered USB hub in my monitor Iiyama VM Pro 451 with the USB to my PC disconnected get a orange 'blinking'
