Hi all,
I am about to buy a brand new system and at the moment am going for a Q6600, 8800Gtx 768Mb graphics, 4GB (4 x 1gb 800mhz) Ram, ASUS P5K-E motherboard.
I have read about the problems with 4Gb and x32 Vista, but as I play a lot of games (older ones I already have), I am still tempted by the 32 bit version. So my question is simply; "Even with the given limitations of 4Gb Ram and Vista 32, will it still be more beneficial having 4Gb than 2Gb ram or even 3Gb Ram (though most manufacturers I have looked at only seelm to offer 2 or 4gb)?"
My thoughts primarily are that by having the extar RAM I should still see some performance gain, plus by if I choose to later upgrade to x64 Vista, I would see another improvement.
