Memory & Motherboard combination advice

Would memory with the following specification

TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G - 4GB Corsair (2x2GB) TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-18

work on a motherboard that specified the following in terms of memory. (Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L)

In the supported memory list this particular memory is not listed. In my response to my question re this memory & board combination. Gigabyte say ‘Unfortunately we dont have this memory to test and verify. Due to the massive memory on the memory on the market we are able verify some of them. ‘
