    Memory Speed Problem

I have 2GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 6400 Ram in an Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard. I have just upgrade to Windows 7 and when running the experience index my memory score appears low at 5.5. I have adjusted the timings in the BIOS to the recommended settings but still get the same result. I noticed that on boot up, the memory shows as PC5300 not the 6400 in actually is. I am now officially stumped. Any advice gratefully received.

The spec of my system is:

    Asus P5B deluxe motherboard
    Intel C2D E6600 clocked to 3.15 GHz
    Corsair HX620 PSU
    2GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 6400 Ram
    Creative Extreme Music X-Fi soundcard
    ATI Radeon 4890 graphics card
    2x Samsung HD501LJ 500GB HDD in raid 0
    Windows 64 bit

Personally I wouldn't take any notice of the Windoze Experience score, as Benchmarks go it's pretty pants. If your system runs OK, that imo is good enough.

you know that the score is based on the lowest rating on your system and not as an average and its only upto 7.9
    at maximum

Thanks, I am aware of that, I compared my rating with other people with similar memory and I score a lot lower. Also when booting it shows as PC5300 so I don't think I am getting the most out of it. I have probably messed something up when I overclocked the CPU, but can't see anything obvious.

I think I have uploaded some screenshots.

    Thanks
