I know, but this is just a beginners guide. Usually you only need an extensive test if you are attempting to push your CPU to the very limits of it's design. Maybe we add this to the Troubleshooting/FAQ as an option for people who want to be absolutely sure their system is stable?Originally Posted by Agent
I've found Intels own Linpack (or LinX if you like a GUI) test much better than OCCT. It seems to show failures quicker, and shows failures even when OCCT and Prime hasn't. Not to mention it seems to get the CPU hotter by a few deg

OiD, next time you happen to take a peak at the BIOS for your CPU, can you please see if the multipier is 20? If Intel works it the same way as they did the Core 2s, you'll find that your multipler will be higher and the base clock will still be 133MHz. I just wanna check this before I ammend the guide to reflect this.
