    In my experience source engine games are quite CPU centric. Many people with last gen CPUs are finding it's a bottleneck for post-update TF2. My old e8600 was good enough at release, but no more.

    It's a shame they didn't benchmark a selection of CPUs from the past couple of years like the i920 and some of the older i5s. I have no concept of how much my CPU might be holding me back. I just know that some newer CPUs are better than others :/

    Gunbuster - i was just thinking about my i920, and i also wandered why it was not in the test. I think the i920 has loads left in it still!!!
