    AOC Monitors

Has anyone got or used an AOC monitor? I'm looking to buy a new one soon, and they seem to be competitively priced compared to the usual suspects. Don't want to save a penny to lose a pound though, so just wondered if anyone can either recommended them?

    Cheers

By the way, I'm looking for a 20"-22" Monitor that has DVI Input, so if anyone can recommend a decent monitor, no more than £150, then I'd appreciate it.

    Re: AOC Monitors

    Hiya,

I recently used the cheap AOC 20" for a build for my father:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/20-ao...sub-600001-5ms

Due to it being on Today Only for a good price. Was absolutely fine, nothing fancy, worked great. No DVI though, so no use for you.

This was recently, so can't comment on longevity etc. but for the £65 I paid, I'm definately not complaining!

    Hope that helps!

    Re: AOC Monitors

I also used the one that maverick77_uk had and only used it for about 2-3 months so also can't comment on longevity, used it with an Acer Revo R3600 and it worked fine, colours were good but the viewing angle wasn't great, also it seemed to be quite reflective when it was next to a window although it is a matt screen, but most monitors don't go well with direct sunlight anyway.

I think at that sort of resolution, DVI and VGA difference will be small anyway but I'm not really a "monitor-phile" though.

Basically said, their monitors are good, I would even say brilliant for the price, but don't expect it to be anything too amazing.

There's also a Hexus member selling a 22 inch 1080p (1920x1080 res) monitor for £70 inc delivery in the For sale section!
