Does anyone else have the problem with voice coming through speakers that the talking is all muffled? Or is it just cos my speakers are a bit crap?
Actually can't be just because of my speakers, my headphones are pretty damn good and I still get that problem, might be because the sound is coming out the line in on my PC.
But yeah, it's good to have a push to talk feature, especially for me since if I want to put my mic in a position where people can hear me, I end up breathing down it a lot. I must have an odd nose. But it is a pain to have to push the d-pad to talk, you can do it quickly since you don't have to hold the button down, but it's still not ideal in a firefight. The problem is all the other buttons are used up. We need more! Two buttons on the back of the controller would be very handy.
The settings on Halo 3 override the dash settings I think, you can change it in the options menu, by default, proximity chat comes through the speakers and comms chat comes through the headset.
