From the screens I've seen - I'll most likely give the BETA a miss. I think they have scaled back the GFX, and concentrated more on testing the gameplay and balance etc. Let's just say the beta doesn't look as pretty as the videos we've all seen....
yeah i dl'd the beta and as you say madmacca i reckon they have scaled down the textures and sounds (the sounds are obvious there low quality) feels like the whole engine still needs to be optimised, the vehicles are underwhelming at the mo and certainly need a bit of a buff. The demo should be interesting tho and definately worth playing its not like bf2 or bf2142 and if your not used to et your gonna find it alot faster, i've seen loads of post with ppl moaning about the speed of the game even tho it doesnt feel as fast as q4 or et
I personally dont mind scaled back graphics and sounds, when your bear in mind the amount of people who scale the graphics and sound back anyway to play at competition level. I cant wait to get my hands on it
apparently they have removed voip, abit silly. Ill post some pics of the game if anyones interested, but im losing interest really quickly in it, i find the whole balance issue with the guns and vehicles annoying

its definately not upto the level i was expecting, no i wasnt expecting a bf2 clone lol before someone screams its not bf2 lol, i understand its a beta but it still feels like theirs a couple of months work leftOriginally Posted by Odc
