Could someone recommend a good gaming headset. I've got max £30 to spend but as always if i can get a good pair for less then great. I was thinking of getting these creative fatality gaming heaset. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=577071

A friend uses these, Sennheiser pc 131 binaural noise-cancelling pc headset, and is very pleased with them. Availabe from Scan for £21.14 (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=573110).

I use Plantronics Gamecon 1, and would reccommend them without hesitation, unfortunately they are no longer being manufactured, shame.

imo a good soundcard will pay a bigger dividend, as in if you get medusas and run them on onboard they are not good, so get a decent soundcard first

I recently upgraded from Sennheiser PC130s to Icemat Siberias. I haven't really noticed much difference in sound quality (my old headphones were very good anyway) but they are infinitely more comfortable and cover your ears completely. I know loads of gamers that own a pair and think very highly of them, which is why I picked them over other headphones. I highly recommend them

Cheers everyone for your suggestions. I've got Creative T7900 and they come with a control unit like this.

Can line in be used for the mic input? I dont think it can but not sure.
I've only got onboard sound but i think its ok just want some headphones because everyone's getting mad at hearing guns blasting away when in bed!!lol! Plus i can start using teamspeak. Those Icemats look good probably go for them.
