About LinkBacksWell I just ordered it. I still don't own HL2:ep1, so it seemed a decent deal to me. TF2 looks like a barrel of laughs though.

Gabe Newell said although retailers have limited shelf space (therefore orange box only) steam gives them tremendous versatility when it comes to packages, so cheaper packages are a dead cert. I'm waiting..

Looks like it isn't going to be anytime soo for us in the UK, read over on the steampowered forums that its set for release sometime around 6pm Pacific time, which if im rite is 2AM tomorrow for us
Ive bought the orange box and preloaded TF2, really looking forward to Portal though, looks great if you ask me! Love those sort of physics puzzles games, could actualy do with a few new ones!
I should have HL2 and Episode 1 to give away but may have a friend that may want them, he seems to think his PC will run them but im pretty sure its an incredibly bad spec and he just doesnt have a clue!
Needs new monitor / speakers / headphones / keyboard.
Before that i need money :s

I tried pre-loading it yesterday, but i was getting 1kb/s so i didnt bother leaving it run last night i thought it might be quicker today. I guess not, Max ive seen is around 30kb/s and its usually around 7kb/s
